I also got the Home Movies vibe from it, but it was lacking in terms of writing. I felt like the jokes weren't great and it was sort of unintelligible at times.

Besides that, the art style and animation looks great. I liked the little touches like the kid being distracted by his fingers.

It really had no point besides saying you like the album, which isn't really animation-worthy.

As soon as I saw the name I was giddy, cause I love this song and actually years ago tried to animate it.

But when I saw it's a clock, I was a bit disappointed. A song like this needs human faces, a subtle smile. It's nearly impossible to convey emotions with clocks, besides angry eye sad eye and suck. I would have like this much more if they were human.

Good job though, very literal but well done.

True that there's only so much emotion you can show with a basic clock face, but what I couldn't show with the faces I showed with everything else: symbolism, motifs, and visuals.

I just didn't like how you took the Flash Tubs format and didn't even credit Shmorky.

i am a big fan of shmorky and the flash tub. to be honest i think he is the BEST flash animator out there- im dead serious. sure adam phillips does great stuff but shmorky does it ALL- he is hilarious, entertaining and just animates VERY VERY well.

talking about ripping of the animated weekend web... well... looking at it NOW yes totally i won't disagree. it is, yes. but here is the thing: i STARTED that thing many many many years ago when there was only the weekend web and i laughed a lot about the weekend web. then some guys on a programming forum READ a thread in different voices and posted the mp3 - it was just hilarious. so knowing that mp3 those guys made and then looking at the weekend web I just got the idea for that flash and started it. then I didn't touch it again for years and THEN the animated version of the weekend web came around - so after I had already started this. I think if you look at this flash you can see how the style changes- how it goes from alright looking (newer) to crap (older).

I hope this explains the whole deal very well.
