You don't need to learn actionscript to be make money. Get a coder that you know, and make a bunch of games with him. There are plenty of skilled coders out there that would want to work with a great artist like you. I would... but I'm busy making a <a href="<a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/782813">http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/7 82813</a>">game</a> with JunkyCow.
And don't think 100 bucks is a lot for a game. For lack of a better example - and I'm not trying to brag, I just don't know how much other people get paid - JK and my game should get in around 2.5-5k US.
