Wow, this looks fucking amazing.

I think we're actually watching this at some point for my animation class.

Sweet, hope you enjoy it if you actually do

The animation was made in Toon Boom Digital Pro, is a really advanced software

Why are you acting like it's a fact?
I researched this. It was made in flash.

Yay, it's finally working for me now :D

Anyway, regardless of whether Flash played a huge role or the only thing Flash related is the .swf at the end of its file... it still looks crazy good.

Ah, the power of money and... manpower.

this is the one I missed at the festival! Here in Montreal, we have the "Festival De Nouveau Cinema" and I've been going all week. I saw a ton of films but I didn't manage to see this one. My friend who saw every film basically said this was the best. I'm going to catch it the second it hits theatres.

The director felt that reenacting the stories people were telling would be contrived and not accurate. He chose to make an animation out of them because the possibilities were limitless. The credit sequence apparently is 26 wolves chasing after something and it's a recurring dream one of the people has. How would they reenact that? I NEED TO SEE THIS.

The wolf scene is in the beginning and it's great.
Especially since I live in Israel and actually recognize the streets where they run.

that is really flash? the level of detail is really high, or maybe they did it on flash and passed it to another video software like after effects

the image is really impressing

I don't think the backgrounds were drawn in flash, but the animation was.

Wow, pretty amazing movie there, I wanna see it :D

looks like a lot 3d work more than flash. I could see mostly the foregrounds and backgrounds were totally flash based.

There's something about animation that heightens the horrors of war and memories for people who watch it, like some sort of a direct connection to the creators imagination... urk...

COOL! WHen the men were talking, the style of animation reminded me of Kol Belov. Does anyone agree?

i just watched it online....Fuckin' amazing! i loved it!

I guess Israels 'Adam Phillips' cloning research is paying off :P

The movie looks splendid, can't really comment on how it was done as i've barely started using flash, but it has to be said, a whole supermarkets worth of hats off to whoever did it.

Oh ok well Damn this must have very hard to make!

Can't Wait to see it

WOW

that animation style kinda reminds me of the movie "A Scanner Darkly"

you should check it out dude.

I saw it.
It's kinda similar, not a whole lot.

i don't think they made it at flash...
i mean,even YOU can't do this...
mabey they make it at maya(3d animetion program)
and i want to see thet movie, too bad thet he wasn't come to israel yet :P

It IS playing in Israel.

@ Masamu:
You should've read what Yotam wrote about this video rather than watching it alone.

I'm totally buying the DVD. This is fantastic.

i live in israel yotam
basader?
basader...

then why say "too bad thet he wasn't come to israel yet"

I'll see if I can add this.
