LazyMuffin's News

Oh hey AMERICANS.

I need a nice useful programmer to make a quick little game with me. It has somewhat of an RPG factor to it, so YEAH. Also has pretty simple gravity engine to it. Let me know if you're interested, game shouldn't take too long. I have most of it ready.

SHOW ME YO GAME AND GIVE ME YO EMAAAAAAAAIL.

ALSO, for the past month I have been working on my first actual animating job. It's for a TV show on some channel over here. I'm doing it mostly for credit but the pay isn't bad for being a teenager. So I had my first piece of animation shown on TV. Yay.

Nameless is going horribly slow due to school, work and my life. I really want to finish it. Really really want to finish it. SO HARD.

Now let me kiss those lips of yours.
Thanks.

Programmer NEED-HEAD?

Animationwise
For the new year, an animation that has nothing to do with the new year, cause you're probably over it already. ALL NUMBERS MAN, NUMBERS.

It's an audio clip from a podcast I like, made it in a couple of days.
Show some lovin

Gazawise
NO POLITICS TALK HERE. Just to whoever think that all of Israel is exploding, I'm fine. I'm in the safe spot... for now, that is.

Tabletwise
I finally got the tablet got me, and It's great. I'm getting used to it quickly and am gonna use it for the rest of Nameless, not with the pressure thingy cause that'll look like a whole different style.

SO THANKS NEWGROUNDS.

Happy new WATCH MY ANIMATION

HEY GUYS.

I am sad and slightly worried cause my tablet is not here yet... and you little punks taking pictures and drawing your tablet just makes me sick. sick to my liver.

Hopefully a RWD collab (one that is over 22 seconds) will be released on time soon.
SPEAKING OF SILENT NIGHT, you people are crazy and very touchy about baby jesus, or as I call him BJ.

OH AND, I'll be submitting a short animation featuring audio from a podcast somewhere in early January, so look out for that.

And that is all, I'll get back to standing next to my mail box. (I know it doesn't work that way, shut up)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Happy Chalalalanuka

I love Newgrounds. I love it more than any other site. Not only they sponsor my silly series, but they are giving as hell. It's ridiculous. And to add to their graciousness I won a tablet. I send you kisses Tom.

Buy the shirt. I heard thousands of people say it's a great conversational piece.

Nameless is currently about 65% done and I have about two complex scenes to finish. This really motivates me to keep working on it.

Thanks.

Ps. dicks. a whole bunch of em, to make this post less boring.

Holy Shit Dildos.

HEY!

First off, working on Nameless, will hopefully finish a Halloween 3 minute thing on time.
That is all the flash news I have.

NOW, I would like to discuss an animated, Israel-based movie called Waltz with Bashir.
It's about the director of the movie (Ari Folman) who was a part of the first Lebanon war, but blocked out most of his memories from that time. He goes to friends he remembers from the war and tries to piece everything together. It's an animated documentary with mostly flashbacks.

I'm not telling you about this movie for it's story though, I'm telling you about this just so you can see the animation. The animation was made in Flash and some other 3D program.
As someone who works with flash almost daily this boggles my mind. Just watch the trailer.

.
/* */

.
/* */
I have no idea how they did it. I just can't think of it as a .FLA.
I think it's worth a watch just for the animation. So watch it.

Cool?
Cool.

I'm not as good in flash as I thought.
I mean, I can animate fairly well, but I'm horrible at working WITH it.
Up until a few weeks ago I had no idea the use of Graphics make .FLAs smaller. (Thanks Luis)

So for the past couple of days I have been re-framing EVERYTHING. Going through about 6 minutes of animation just copying everything, making everything graphics and just aligning crap. It's working thought, FLA's become magically smaller.

SO YES, Nameless 6 Volume. 3 is currently 6 minutes long and using simple yet not very accurate math that's 57% of the script. GOODIES.

As we all know at heart, I'm not gonna be able to .SWF it all in one part, so I'm gonna release it in two parts like last time, the question is:
Should I submit what I've got and start working on the other half, or finish it all then submit em close together. Let me know what you guys think.

AND, thanks everyone who voted for RWD: 021 MEET'N'FUCK for the Best of September and taking down that horrible Egoraptor guy. Squirrels? REALLY? FOAMY MUCH?

THANKS.

WIPE MY FACE!

Hello ladies and GENTLE men.

The RWD: 021 MEET'N'FUCK ended up being much more popular than I expected.
But thats what people like, hentai and game parodies.
I assume the score will go down once it's in the top 50, reasonably of course.

It's okay though, this is not gonna become my shtick or anything, gonna keep working on my poor, cold baby named nameless.
So far it's 4:00 minutes long and like 30% done, so I'm crying inside. Crying hard.

Anyway, here's a Manatee taking notes.

HEY!

I'm working on Nameless as some of you may know, and I'm already having size issues.
I'm animating scene by scene then putting it all together.

The animation is how two minutes long and 3.62MB.
EXPLAIN THAT TO ME! What about my animation makes everything weigh so much?
How come two minutes of my animation weighs 3.6MB and a 20 minute animation by Waterman weighs 10MB? ):

I tried deleting all the audio files just to see how big a 1.6MB scene will be, it only changed to 1.4MB.
I tried putting it all in a movie clip but that didn't help.

I'll probably end up dealing with it and putting up in 2 parts instead of one, which makes me sad.

But if any of you have suggestions, go ahead.
Can't hurt.

BY THE WAY, THERE IS A NEW MEMBER IN THE RWD.
... MMMYES.

It was a bitch, but I downloaded Castle Crashers.
I don't have LIVE or anything, I just downloaded the game.

It's really fun times.

Started working on Nameless.
I've finished the RECAP animation and one HOSTEL scene.
It's one minute so far and like 1.8MB as a swf.

COMMENCE SADNESS.

NAMELESS CRASHERS

Finally finished writing the Nameless 6 Volume. 3 script (with the dear help of my brother, of course).
I started on 30th of April and finished on August 10th.
I can't say I wrote daily or even weekly, I just had some issues with this script that slowed me down.

The script is 12 pages long, which makes my brain sad.
Volume 2 was 8 pages and ended up being 10 minutes.
So I don't see this being submitted in one piece.

Now I'm waiting for the lines back from my three main actors: Arin "Egoraptor" Henson, Rina Chan and Stamper.

I'm gonna finish the current story line with this volume, which means episode 7 will be a brand new adventure.
I'm gonna make em shorter though, so I submit one more than once in 9 months.

And I must thank Newgrounds for sponsoring the series.

LAAAAAAAATER.
